This 2 day course covers 2 units of work; Mental Health Awareness and Mental Health First Aid.
The purpose of the Mental Health Awareness qualification is to offer you an understanding and awareness of mental health, as well as common mental health issues. This is to help reduce both stigma and discrimination, encouraging people to talk about mental health more openly.
This qualification provides learners with the ability to apply their knowledge, through recognising and responding to the signs of mental ill health in both themselves and others, as well as being able to offer mental health first aid to those experiencing mental ill health.
Please be aware this course focusses on some topics which some people may find distressing inlcuding self-harm and suicide.
As we continue to transition from private/corporate training to also offering public training courses our available course dates will increase. If you can not find a suitable date or no dates are listed for your chosen course please get in touch as we may be able to offer you a place on an unlisted course at a discounted rate. Many thanks.
